June was a month full of change - my husband and I packed up our apartment in Los Angeles and moved across the country to start the next chapter in Baton Rouge, LA. I was sad to leave the amazing and supportive fiber community of Southern California, but I am very excited about the opportunities Baton Rouge offers for my small business. 

With all the stress that comes with moving, I took the month off from producing a color of the month for the shop. We are still getting settled into our new place, but one of the first things checked off my to-do list was getting the dye studio up and running. And the very first skeins in the dye pot had to be a brand new colorway for July.

July's color of the month features a beautiful turquoise blue base with accents of neon orange and speckles of spearmint green and bright purple. This colorway was inspired by the bright, playful colors of the summer vacation of your dreams: a nod to relaxing beaches, vibrant street festivals, and tropical flowers in full bloom.
